If you asked me what keeps me busy lately, I would probably respond with just out finding new adventures. You see I have never been one to put myself out there even though I wanted to experience so many things. This year I got involved with the Achieve Anything Foundation and Girls Can Fly Too as a volunteer photographer. So far I have done donuts chasing a little RIB (boat) around Howe Sound in a Navy Warship (Frigate), visited the Coast Guard Station in Victoria where I got to learn tonnes about Marine Life and how the Coast Guard keeps us all safe on the water, Chinese New Year where I got to photograph the Mayor of Vancouver and Faye Leung. My most recent adventure was the Girls Fly 2 event March 10 and 11. I have never been so exhausted and happy all at the same time, photographing planes, helicopters, police dogs, police robots that disarm bombs, police horses, army, navy, air force they were all there. Highlight of my weekend was that I got to photograph Astronaut Wendy Lawrence and have a wonderful chat with her. I am looking forward to more adventures in the coming months.
